1. Outlook 2013 Setup Guide
You need to get "Zimbra Connector for Outlook" from your organization's zimbra Administrator. If you are Administrator and do not know how to obtain one, please contract our support at email@example.com
Click to Install Zimbra Connector for Outlook.
Select "Accept" and Click Next
You will see the Installation progress window.
Then you will see the following "Installation Complete"page.
Start the Outlook 2013 from the Start menu.
You will be redirected to Zimbra Configuration Window.
Enter the Account Information provided by your IT Administrator.
Use Secure Connection: (recommend=ON will use HTTPS instead of HTTP)
Open "Connection Settings" Tab,
Select "No Proxy" or if your organization use Proxy server please configure accordingly. Then click OK
If your Zimbra use private Certificate, you will prompted to allow insecure connection. Click "Connect Despite the Risks". We recommend to install Proper Commercial Certificate (Optional)
Click "Authorize Connections"
End of Configuration.
Recommend: POST Configuration
Active Sync does generates error message (only if there is an error) and it will be send to Inbox by default. It may be bothering to some users, Thus you can change this setting to dedicated "error folder" provided by Outlook.
Simply from your Outlook, go to File> Error Reports > Save in Conflicts folder.
2. iOS Setup Guide
Server Side Requirements [for Administrator]:
Your Zimbra server need an Active Sync license and Mobile Sync must be enabled on each Account's settings. If you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Go to Settings > Mail,Contacts, Calendars > Add Account
Tap Exchange icon below.
Enter your Account Information and Tap Next
If your Zimbra server use private SSL certificate, you will get following warning.
To Confirm, please Tap Continue.
Please Chose items to Sync from your Zimbra Account.
